Working with English Building Systems is one of the best decisions we have ever made.  As excited as we were to build a house, Schuyler and I had very little idea what was involved.  We had a piece of land and a few concepts, but not much else.  Wayne and Donna English, with their expertise, patience, dedication, and commitment to our happiness, made our cloudy vision a beautiful reality.

From our first meeting, we felt comfortable and confident working with EBS. Wayne and Donna were ready to listen and eager to help.  From our laundry list of wishes (open floor plan, lots of light, lots of wood, room for our family to grow and to entertain) Wayne quickly generated a working design.  Schuyler and I were amazed.  Wayne synthesized all our input, making any adjustments we asked.  The result was better even than the house we had imagined.  From there, we moved efficiently forward.  Donna took us gracefully through the interior decision making, asking all the right questions and providing ready answers to our own.  Wayne took our design and lined up subcontractors.  Before we knew it our house was being set on the foundation.

Wayne and Donna are people of absolute integrity.  They take great pride in their work, and make it a point to develop relationships that are both professional and personal.  Without fail, they answered our questions and addressed our concerns with speed and consideration.  It was clear from very early on that they wanted us to enjoy both our house and the experience of building.  We have just celebrated our daughters’ first birthday, and we are thrilled to be raising them in our beautiful new home.
